Composting Service for Events
We provide everything you need to make your event compost-friendly—from bins and signage to products. Additional carts are available upon request.
Please note: We need at least two weeks' notice before your event in order to prepare and deliver everything you need for your event.
Use your existing bin, and order more if needed.: If you have a 32 gallon bin at home, you should be able to accommodate up to 50 guests. If you have a 64 gallon bin, you'll be covered for up to 100 people. After the party, we'll come replace your full bin with a clean and empty one.
Accepted Materials: We accept all food scraps and compostable products that we sell, ensuring a smooth and sustainable waste management experience. Learn more about what can/cannot be composted.
Contamination-Free: Our team will carefully remove any non-compostable items before they reach the compost site, so you don’t have to monitor the bins.
Let us take care of the details so you can focus on your event!
Why it’s important…
Waste audits conducted by the Northeast Recycling Council, Inc. (NERC) through a USDA-funded project, demonstrated that more than one pound per person of food waste is generated at special events. At each of these events, food and serving packaging averaged 41% of the waste by weight.
What our customers are saying
"Composting is an important tool we use to educate all of our event guests. From birthday parties to Boy Scout & Girl Scout overnights, each group learns about what we do with their food/meal waste."
